About
Qtopia is a queer, femme owned business founded by Baylee Woodley to advance a sense of belonging and possibility for queer students and educators.
Baylee has a PhD in History of Art from the University College London and has worked in accessible education since 2016. They have taught undergraduates, high school students, and adult learners from diverse backgrounds. Currently, they are a sessional lecturer and learning strategist at the University of Victoria. They are also pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology to help them better serve their communities.
Everyone benefits from an education that invites them to consider all of the possibilities and question the structures around them: an education that is queered.

Pricing
Qtopia is a space that strives for inclusion. If these prices do not work for you please get in touch. If you have a little bit extra, you can add to your payment to fund scholarship spots.
Tutoring:
- Individual sessions: $45/hr
- Group sessions (2+ students): $25/hr for each student
- Monthly package (includes one session/week): $140/month
Editing:
- Developmental editing (idea generation, outlining, content development, drafting): $100
- Includes a 30 minute initial consult + advanced work on your content + one hour session
- Follow up sessions are $45/hour
- Copy editing and proofreading: $50/hr
Consulting:
- Individual curriculum development sessions: $120
- Includes a 30 minute initial consult + advanced work on your syllabus + advanced focussed research on the relevant subjects + one hour session
- Follow up sessions are $45/hr
- Workshops: $300-$1,000
- Our workshops are priced using a sliding scale model depending on institution type and workshop length — get in touch to figure out what works for your school or business
- Corporate Retainer Fee: approx. $1, 500/month
- Our retainer fee covers consulting, editing, research, and workshops and makes sure we are available to consistently support your team and projects
